Experience the mouth-watering taste of pizza done right!

A deep dedication to pizza and its development has driven our Chef Bruno DiFabio to put over 30 years of his life into its mastery, and he plans on dedicating another 30 to it.

His pizza passion story

Pinocchio’s owner and pizziaolo, Bruno DiFabio, was born to Italian immigrants in Yonkers, New York. A pizza prodigy from the age of 10 and the grandson of the landmark Tony’s Italian Kitchen on the West Side of Manhattan, Bruno mastered the New York–style pie early in his adulthood, opening his first pizzeria right out of college. Still unsatisfied, Bruno’s second education came when he studied abroad under master pizzaiolos in Italy, eventually mastering the science of Neapolitan and Romana style pizza — earning him one of only a few highly coveted certifications of True Authentic Neapolitan Pizza from the VPN association in Naples.

Experience his genius

For the last 10 years, DiFabio has been on the competitive pizza-making circuit internationally as well as within the United States. He has been declared as a 6-time world pizza champion in the skills and taste competition at the Mondial de la Pizza.  Bruno also recently served as a guest judge on the Food Network show Chopped for their Pizza Perfect episode.
